Since 1990, Assist has been helping people with learning disabilities to succeed in their lives.

Whatever the level of ability might be, Assist supports everyone as adults, helping them to understand the expectations that life has of all of us. While each person’s timetable is focussed on the needs of that individual, this style of support is common to everyone.

Assist celebrates every step towards independence that anyone makes, no matter how small or modest that might seem to be. Some people will take a long time to manage the smallest steps, but that’s absolutely fine – we’ll take all the time that you need.
