Assist treats each of my children differently and gives them what they need to be happy and as independent as possible. I really like fact that that Assist is all about supporting them into independence, I want them to be the best people they can be and get the most out of their lives and so does Assist. The first time we visited it was so obvious how what Assist does is all about building confidence and treating everyone as a person in their own right. And the environment was incredibly warm and welcoming, everyone was just so happy, laughing and doing a range of different things that built their skills and confidence.

Andrew always looks forward to coming to Assist Trust and he is smiling and seems happy in a good mood when he gets back home. Attending Assist Trust is very important for Andrew’s mental health. Assist Trust is the only Service Andrew attends without it he would spend all his time in his room playing on his Xbox.

Sarah depends on Assist for routine and contact with others. She has always enjoyed Assist, and is very settled and secure there. She absolutely loves her job at the Post Office. She also tells us that she nearly always enjoys the groups she is in at Assist. Assist has been wonderful for Sarah and we are grateful for all the time and care that has been invested in her over many years. We don’t know what we would do without you. Assist has enabled Sarah to make great strides in all sorts of ways.
