Working with Norfolk County Council

Assist has a long and proud history of working collaboratively with Norfolk County Council. This can apply to the area of housing and independent living generally, but also in the development of services to support all members to become more independent and less reliant on services over time.

Whenever housing needs of members are considered, NCC will be involved in the assessment and support elements of the process. Assist does not provide the support that goes into Supported Living arrangements themselves, as it would not be good practice to be day service provider, landlord and support provider all in one.
