Volunteers / Trustees
At any one time, Assist will have a number of volunteers working with the members in a variety of different roles.
From working alongside individuals on particular projects at the Gardens to helping with small groups going "Out and About" into the city, volunteers are involved in all aspects of the member's development at Assist.

Brian Francis is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers as they undergo a comprehensive induction process with a view to undertaking roles that will benefit both the members and the individuals themselves.
As well as volunteers helping out with day to day activities, Assist is always on the look out for potential new Trustees. Ten individuals currently give up around 2 hours a month to attend meetings and to help keep an oversight of the management and financial health of the organisation as a whole.
At present we have representation on the board from areas of education, housing, social care, health, management and finance.
Anyone keen to support the members as a volunteer with the Assist Trust should get in touch with Brian Francis on (01603) 425451.
