City Centre Offices
The Assist Trust is now using 6 Upper Goat Lane (located in the centre of Norwich) as Work and Independence Offices.
All existing services continue at Lazar House and Heath Gardens just as they have been, with the city centre offices serving to focus more on aspects of gaining employment and becoming more independent. Services include:
- Job preparation.
- Job coaching and supported employment.
- Benefits advice and support.
- Employer's advice.
- Money advice.
- Housing advice and support.
- Social and leisure time advice.
- Advocacy services.
- Liaison with parents / carers / health and social care professionals.
This development of the services of the Assist Trust came about as a direct response to the needs of the members attending. More and more individuals at Assist are reaching the stage in their own development when they require support specifically aimed at enabling them to access employment and independent living.
